Fitesque was born from the stage-lit spark of Choo La La—Australia’s largest burlesque-inspired dance brand, created to empower people through movement, music, and self-expression. Founder Melony auditioned for years to become a showgirl, but at just 5ft 2, the odds were stacked against her. That was until she got her chance to live her dream—dancing around the world and proving that confidence, not height, is what truly owns the stage.
She knew she wanted to share that feeling—the rush of spotlight confidence—with others of all shapes, ages, cultural backgrounds, and abilities. Fitesque became the natural next step: taking the sass, strength, and spirit of the stage and blending it with the burn of a full-body workout. The result? A dance-fit experience that celebrates sensuality, builds confidence, and turns every class into a cheeky, feel-good outlet with a smile!
